Coles Bay, Half Iron Distance Triathlon,
I know, many of you may wonder what all this triathlon talk is all about? Well simple really, many subscribers and followers of this blog are triathletes, not only that Port Douglas plays host to an amazing race in September, the Tri-Port Half Iron distance Triathlon. Not only that I have been passionate about the sport for many years and in the last few months we have established Team Latitude.
The Hahn Super Dry Team Latitude is a group of professional triathletes put together for thepromotion of the sport of triathlon, via both assisting smaller races via promotion and to give young athletes a chance to compete in some smaller fun racTeam Latitude first competed at the Port Douglas Half triathlon in September last year and was a huge success, although the race has been going for some years now the assisted promotion certainly helps and also puts Port Douglas on the triathlon calendar.
The Hahn Super Dry Team Latitude will next be off to Coles Bay on the East Coast of Tasmania. Some of the names of athletes competing for the Team will be , Matty White, Tim Berkel! Mitch Anderson, Adam Gordon, Mitch Robins, Dan Robins, Michael Murphy and a new comer, Justin Brewer. All impressive athletes…
So need an excuse for something different? then get down to Coles Bay on the 16th February and have a ago at what promises to be an amazing triathlon in an amazing environment.
See you in Tassie…
